Golden Globes 2016

imageSo much glitz and a whole lot of gold! There was so many divine dresses that graced the red carpet of this year’s Golden Globes and there was definitely chic after party outfits, too. For me, Kate Bosworth was undoubtedly the best dressed. Her look was just so feminine and elegant but also fun. Don’t you just want to put on that utterly gorgeous, pink sequinned dress, twirl around in it and never take it off? Why so pretty?! My favourite!

Not only did Kate look incredible in her heavily sequined strapless gown by the wonderful Dolce Gabbanna, she also looked sensational at the InStyle after party. Choosing to wear Dolce Gabbana again was her best decision ever. I mean, have you ever seen anything more adorable that that embellished and embroidered bustier, and fitted trouser two-piece? I actually prefer her after party look more than her red carpet look, she won best dressed for me! Oh, and that bag. TOO CUTE! So girly and chic. Of course Kate finished off her look with a statement, deep red lip. Very Dolce! I need that whole outfit in my life. Or even just the bag, please.

I loved how Kate kept her hair super sleek and tied up to not take anything away from her very intricate and highly detailed outfit choices. When I think of Kate Bosworth, the word classy comes to mind and she never fails to disappoint! Totally fell in love with her even more.

In addition to Kate Bosworth, there were of course others who also looked exceptionally sublime. Brie Larson shun in her ever so shiny, gold sequined Calvin Klein dress and Alicia Vikander oozed elegance in her crisp white dress by Louis Vuitton. So much beauty!

I also really love something about the blush, lace Alexander McQueen gown that Rooney Mara worn, too. I am just not a big fan of the bottom of the dress, however I absolutely adore the top half. The detail is beautiful and the daintiness of that tiny strap and delicate, off the shoulder lace is divine. Really liked herΒ deep wine coloured lip against the pretty hue of the dress.

My favourite after party look, (apart from Kate) has to be Louise Roe wearing a Tamara Mellon gold trouser suit. Loving metallics at the minute. It looks like metallics really might be the new black!
