23. No different to 22. Although, I did find myself telling a customer in work the other day that I was 21 when they had asked. I was so confused. Whatever, 21, 23 – same thing. I had a lovely birthday nonetheless; Gary took me to The Vincent for food and drinks – obsessed with their sushi.
I will never get enough of The Vincent’s chargrilled focaccia bread with dipping oil, either. It’s literally incredible. I rushed home from work and got ready super quick, the quicker I got ready the quicker I had that focaccia bread and delicious pulled pork sushi on my table.
I wore a magical beaded, burnt orange fringed skirt, my favourite black patent heels, a cream textured bandeau crop top, cord tie choker and my suede black sphere shaped clutch. I couldn’t stop twirling my skirt, favourite one of the year – and it was on sale!
I really loved my birthday outfit and it was so rushed! Last minute outfits are the best. I got this suede thin cord from Abakan fabrics and just tied it in a bow at the back off my neck. I have also had that cream crop top for about two years, I was so glad it worked well with the skirt – less stress finding a new top.
The gold trimming of my bag worked nicely with the orange skirt and my cream top, too. I wore a deep purple/brown lip and ensured my nails where painted purple to tie it together.
I could also wear this skirt with a relaxed blouse, pointed courts, hair in a loose bun and statement earrings. – Too excited to wear this skirt again!
