Delicious food and cocktails at Australasia in Manchester to celebrate my first anniversary with my lovely Gary. If you haven’t been, go. It’s so nice and the cocktails are the best. Especially the Australasian Pornstar and the Kiwi and Honey Crush.
We had black cod roasted in hoba leaf, black tiger prawns, BBQ lamb cutlets, Peking duck roll with hoi sin and spring onion, prawn and asparagus rolls, crispy suckling pork belly with a pineapple curry and roasted duck breast with duck croquettes and mango. I also had a passionfruit cheesecake for desert. Amazing.
The sushi was better at The Vincent, though, but still loved it and had a really lovely night. Definitely need to try out more restaurants in Manchester!I wore a satin dalmatian print slouched shirt, an off-white asymmetric wrap-front skirt with belt, transparent strapped heels and crisscross diamante choker. I styled this outfit along with my amazing new gold caged sphere bag, which really completed the look. I am too obsessed with unusual bags! I’m also getting a little too used to wearing blouses unbuttoned – it looks so much better. I mean, I’m not going to start going to work in an unbuttoned shirt, but you know.I’m loving most things satin and silky at the minute too and can’t wait to dress down this blouse with a pair of skinny ripped jeans, a black belt and ballerina flats with a leather jacket popped over my shoulders. Don’t you just love it when you can dress something up and down with ease!
