Christmas and Boxing day

imageOh, Christmas, I love you! I adore putting on my new Christmas boots and warm knitted jumper followed by going to my nan’s to see all of my family, eating a small roast and then coming back home where my mum does another roast later on (Christmas is for overindulging, right?).

There is also plenty of snacking (gorging myself) on goodies in between, of course. I mainly love Christmas because my favourite phrase comes out “Oh well, it’s Christmas” – more doughnuts, please!?

I had a lovely Christmas with my wonderful family and friends – thank you for making this year amazing! I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas, too!

(Can you tell Zara is my favourite shop?)

Don’t you just love when you realise you have something in your wardrobe that you completely forgot you had and has never been worn. This was the case when I needed to find a knitted jumper to go with the grey skirt I had bought. (I even wanted the colour to be cream, how perfect!).

I styled my outfit with some fishnet tights as I am completely obsessed and I think they make your outfit look a little more dressy and dynamic. However, definitely not the warmest of options even though this year we had a slightly warmer Christmas day, which was a little weird.

My velvet boots also tied in nicely with the red coloured embroidery on my skirt along with the hint of red on my mini bag. I wore crystal earrings as I love statement earrings with a high neck knit and when else can you wear sparkly earrings at daytime, other than christmas day? I planned to wear a light, faint pinstriped shirt with deep cuffs underneath as I love oversized sleeves but it looked to chunky and was maybe, one to many layers.

Now for Boxing Night, one of my favourite nights of the year. I had such a good night; we had a booth in The Hilton, which was surprisingly fun! Work the next day at 8.30am wasn’t as fun, though. I wore the ‘Harveen’ regal toned velvet dress from House of CB (here), I just made it shorter as I wasn’t feeling the length on me. I wore a silver clustered star hair barrette (here), simple crystal stud earrings and velvet plaited black heels (here).imageimageimageimageimageHope you loved your boxing night! Now to get organised for another one of my favourite nights of the year… NYE
