A red lip, tiara like embellished headdresses, a rose placed in the hair and a highly decorative box bag – I love you, Dolce! Dolce and Gabbana yet again created a show that was much more about the clothes; it was a fun family affair.
I definitely most look forward the Dolce and Gabbana collection during fashion week, along with Valentino and probably Rodarte (I obviously look forward to a whole lot more, too).
That orange tailored suit with vintage floral olive toned print trimmed in a gold glittering thread was just heavenly. I adore the contrasting shimmering gold collar with pink sequined floral appliqué – I totally love everything about this look, right down to the orange roses in the sleek back hairdo and fishnet socks. LOVE! As I’ve said before, it really is all in those exquisite details with Dolce! I’m obsessed. Those cropped black lace flared trousers with tapestry style embroidered florals were just utterly amazing, and I wish I had them for my trip to Rome! I loved them paired with the slouched grey t-shirt for a casual feel.
I have a good few favourites from this collection, a couple more has to be that glorious black overcoat with again, tapestry inspired pink toned appliqué and that seriously beautiful black diaphanous midi dress with intricate lace and the sweetest velvet mini bow paneling. The detail is insane, although I don’t think it needed that white lace collar.Always a plethora of texture, colour, adornment and impeccable craftsmanship, Dolce and Gabbana never disappoints. Sensational.
Now for the Paris madness…
