Suit Style

IMG_4246.JPGOne of my favourite things about wearing a suit is that you can have fun with accessories, especially if the suit is fairly plain (it also means you don’t have to tan your legs – so it’s a win, win).

This time, I opted for an all white tuxedo style blazer with satin lapels (here) and matching cropped trousers (here) – I knew I’d love it as I’ve got a baby pink tailored suit which is quite similar. I wanted to add a bit of colour to break the white up so went for some colourful jewel tasseled earrings (here), and a pink satin buckled belt (here) worn over the blazer to make it look a little different as I guess I wear blazers a bit too much. (Also inspired by Elsa Hosk’s take on the ‘belt over clothes trend’ – isn’t she just amazing?!).

I also accessorised this look with the SWEETEST little embellished pouch bag (here), which tied the pastel coloured accessories together nicely (I’m such a lover of pastel hues). I opted for my silver multi strap heels (here) that I’m totally obsessed with again as they go with most outfits and they no longer hurt! They’re also now available in a super cute pastel pink and lilac.IMG_4247IMG_4248IMG_4251IMG_4250IMG_4249IMG_4253IMG_4683IMG_4252Here are some of my fave suits to shop at the minute and where to buy:

Coral double-breasted suit jacket and pleated skirt (here)

Yellow double-breasted suit jacket and 70’s style cropped trousers (here)

Tailored suit co-ord in scarlet red (here)

Double-brested off-white jacket (here) and high waisted flared suit trousers (here) – I especially love the shimmery pearlised buttons on the jacket!

Yellow jacket with black buttons and high waisted wide trousers (here) and (here) – This would be so easy to wear casual or dress it up, I have just bought this jacket myself. Tip: Throw a neck tie on for a pop of colour.

Double-breasted fuchsia pink jacket (here) and cropped trousers with turn-up hem (here) – You could wear this open with a bralet underneath and throw on some flat slides such as (these) for a colour-blocked look or (these) for a relaxed yet modern feel.

Textured weaved cardigan (here) and matching structured mini skirt (here) – again, loving the pearl button fastenings.

All over floral print structured jacket (here) and matching trousers (here) – I have the trousers, but now I kinda want the jacket too! It’s definitely a standout outfit to say the least.
