The colour of summer

IMG_3833.JPGPink! I’ve worn a LOT of it this year so far and I’m still not fed up of it. There’s a shade of pink for everyone – from playful and pretty pinks to sophisticated and cool tones, it’s my favourite colour at the minute.

Considering I never got to wear my new pink blazer in London, I figured I’d route through my wardrobe and find something else to go with it. I absolutely love this little find as it wasn’t only a bargain, but it’s also super easy to dress up or down. As we were carrying on the July birthday celebrations, I thought I’d go for a kinda dressy look this time.IMG_3625IMG_3747IMG_3743IMG_3756I bought this blazer in the Zara sale, but there’s a similar version (here) – you could even change the buttons to a different style after you’ve worn it for a complete different look. I wore a basic lace bra (here) underneath, (red would even be nice under pink) and a leather corset belt (here). The belt gave my outfit a new shape and looked less casual (I wasn’t too fond of the almost A-line shape it had beforehand).

I threw my lollipop striped neck scarf on (similar here) and (here) to break up the bright pink a little. A pair of cat-eye sunglasses, (my fave shape) (similar here) and my satin fuchsia bag with tiny pearl detailing that I bought in the Zara sale. This isn’t available anymore but there’s a cute pink cross-body bag with pearl embellishment (here), or similar satin bag (here).Β My shoes were also from Zara quite a while ago, I can’t believe I forgot I had them – I’m obsessed with the marble effect, cylinder shaped heel.IMG_3731IMG_3744IMG_3748IMG_3757Pop back soon for a shopping guide of everything pink
